How does Coffee Lens make the design?

A physical stencil card creates the pattern. Pressing the top shutter sifts fine powder through the cutout onto your drink’s foam. Lift Coffee Lens away to reveal the design.

Does it take a photo or connect to my phone?

The standard set works with physical stencil cards. Choose an included design and use powder to transfer that pattern onto foam. It does not convert phone photos into designs.

Which drinks can I use it with?

Use drinks with a milk-foam surface, such as a latte or cappuccino. A smooth foam top gives the powder somewhere to sit. Plain black coffee and drinks without foam are not suitable.

Which powder should I use?

Fine cocoa is an easy place to start. Finely ground cinnamon or matcha can also work if they sift easily. Coarse or clumpy powder can make the design less defined.

Do I need to know how to make latte art?

No free-pouring technique is required. The stencil shapes the design. The appearance still depends on your foam surface, powder and how steadily you position and lift the device.

What is included?

Can I reuse the stencil cards?

Yes. Rinse the cards and let them dry fully. Follow the supplied care instructions for the device itself.
